Summer Outreach Campaigns

Each month, we raise funds for a registered charity whose mission is in line with our values. We call this “Outreach”.

During June, we collected $836 in donations for Urban Spirit Foundation, a charitable organization that exists to further the success and self reliance of Urban Indigenous people in the Metro Vancouver Region.

During July & August, all donations marked “Outreach” will be donated to the North Shore Women’s Centre Youth Empowerment Camps. These events offer free summer camps for pre-teen and teen girls + gender-diverse youth. In these camps, pre-teens explore topics about female empowerment, girl power, media representations and how to make sense of them. Teens learn about healthy relationships, boundaries, body image, bullying and self-esteem, and media in a safe and feminist environment.
